02 / LED & Video

The LED wall the camera cut never beats.

We design the wall around the room and the run-of-show, then engineer it in-house, content workflow, switching, scenic video, and the camera-cut sweep, so the broadcast feed your CMO is watching from the front row reads clean from the first cue. If you've been quoted by a Houston staging shop or an out-of-state production company, the line items don't show what we own. Owned panels, owned processing, owned team.

Inventory

Owned fleet, inspected every load-out.

We own our LED. That means we know the history of every panel in your wall, we rehearse with the same gear we ship, and we don't inherit a sub-rental's failure rate on show day.

PITCH

2.6mm Indoor LED

Camera-safe flagship ballroom spec, the pitch keynote IMAG cuts to without the ballroom audience seeing pixels. 4K cameras read it clean.

PITCH

3.9mm Indoor LED

The corporate ballroom default. Reads clean from 20 feet back; engineered for the room, not the loading dock.

PITCH

5.9mm Outdoor LED

IP-rated panels with wind-rated rigging. Plant openings, street activations, outdoor keynotes.

PROCESSING

Ross Carbonite + Barco E2

Redundant switching and scaling. Disguise media servers for scenic video on dual drives.

Content design

In-house motion team, not a sub-contracted one-off.

A full-time motion design team builds your keynote package, chapter slides, walk-ins, transitions, sponsor stingers, and scenic video, all tuned to the exact pixel count of the wall they'll play on.

  • Keynote graphics package, chapter cards, lower-thirds, quote frames, speaker transitions, tuned to your brand system.
  • Walk-in and countdown content, ambient branded video for the 30 minutes before doors open.
  • Sponsor and partner stingers, short branded transitions that give sponsors airtime without interrupting the program.
  • Scenic video design, ambient video that sits behind the stage and shifts through the arc of the program.
  • Same-day cut-downs, 30 and 60-second social clips edited live off the show feed, delivered to marketing before the day is over.
Technical note

"Camera-safe", what it actually means.

When cameras shoot an LED wall, the refresh rate of the panels and the shutter speed of the cameras interact, and if they're fighting, the wall reads as scan lines, rolling bars or strobe on every camera cut.

Camera-safe panels run refresh rates (typically 3,840Hz+) that sync cleanly with standard camera shutter speeds. Our full indoor 2.6mm and 3.9mm fleet is camera-safe. Before doors open, our video team does a live camera sweep across every angle the show will cut to, if anything scan-lines or beats, we fix it.

LED wall questions

Pitch, investment, load-in, what producers actually ask.

What does an LED video wall cost, and what's in the number? +
LED investment for a corporate ballroom typically runs $18K–$85K depending on pixel pitch, panel count, and curve. A 24' × 14' 2.6mm wall with processing, rigging and onsite tech for a 3-day summit lands around $38K. We quote from panel count + days + crew, no mystery markup, no broker spread.
What pixel pitch should we pick? +
For a ballroom keynote with closest viewer 20 ft back, 2.6mm–2.9mm is the sweet spot. Broadcast-heavy events benefit from 1.9mm. Outdoor activations work at 3.9mm+. We bring a spec worksheet to the scoping call so the pitch choice is tied to your room geometry and camera plan, not a sales sheet.
Do you own your LED inventory? +
Yes, Houston-based. Our warehouse stocks ROE, Unilumin, and Absen panels across 1.9 / 2.6 / 2.9 / 3.9mm, plus Brompton and Novastar processors. Owning the stack means no subrental markup, and no scheduling conflicts with a broker's calendar. For large activations beyond stock, we pre-book with trusted tour partners.
How long does LED load-in take? +
A typical 20' × 12' wall with rigging and motors loads in over 6–10 hours depending on venue dock and truss access. Complex curved or floor panels add a shift. We build the load-in schedule around your rehearsal window, show content runs through our processor before your run-thru, not during it.
Do you provide content operators for the wall? +
Yes. Every LED scope includes a dedicated video engineer at FOH running ProPresenter, Resolume, or Disguise as your show demands. For multi-cam broadcast we add a content director and a comms-headset producer. You tell us the content complexity; we staff to match.

Tell us the room and the run-of-show. We'll scope the wall and a producer in one business day.
